1975 Triumph T160 750cc Trident
Registration no. JVR 327N
Frame no. GK 04619
Engine no. GK 04619
The Triumph 'Trident and its BSA 'Rocket 3' cousin were the swan-songs of two of the oldest names in the industry. Unlike most late efforts, these were very fine machines, gaining an enviable reputation on road and track. The much-revised T160 was , arguably, one of the best British motorcycles ever. This example was restored to the latest specification in 1982, with Boyer ignition, alloy rims and stainless steel spokes and exhaust. JVR 327N has also had a complete service, at a cost of over £1000, in March 2005. The total mileage from new is only around 7,500, with fewer than 500 since the main overhaul. Supplied with V5C and current
MOT and ready for the road.
