A matched pair of George II/III silver cast candlesticks,
by John Café, London 1759 and 1770, nozzles unmarked,
the fluted knopped stems with stylied leaf motifs and acanthus leaf junctions to lower section of stem, terminating in stepped, shaped square bases with alternate cherub and grotesque masks to corners, height 20.2cm, weight 36oz. (2)
