A large Edwardian carved oak rectangular smoker's box
The hinged lid and front concealing a fitted interior including three drawers, brass handles and escutcheon, with various accessories including a decorated rectangular silver vesta case, 6cm, an engine turned silver cigar cutter, another silver tool, and various smoking caps, the box 47.5cm, with presentation plaque to the front inscribed 'Presented to Mr. J. F. Smith On The Occasion Of His Leaving For Scarborough As A Token Of The Esteem In Which He Is Held By The Staff And Workmen At The Halifax Corporation Gas Works, May 4th 1906'.
