The present extraordinary specimen, a three-foot Trionyx, is from one of the most famous fossil localities in the world. Exhibiting a magnificent skull, the specimen is extremely well articulated, with restoration on the tail. A small Priscacara liops and a large Diplomystus dentatus accompany the turtle in the calcium carbonate limestone shale.
