Note: This painting was the only design Norman Rockwell created for the Hills Brothers Coffee company. It was painted in 1929 and the copyright is from 1930 and used thereafter for the in-store promotional products and on the coffee cans themselves. Rockwell began creating advertisements in 1915 and his most creative and painterly works were completed between 1915 and 1930, even though he continued to produce promotional works until the 1970's.
