The shoulders with upstanding handles and addorsed female term figures holding laurel garlands above an encircling band of champlevé Arabesque enamel centered by applied Bacchus masks, raised on hoof foot on a shaped base with central supporting standard, engraved MARNYHAC FONDEUR 1 Rue de la Paix.

- Marnyhac et Cie, established at 1 Rue de la Paix in Paris, were active from the mid 19th century into the early 20th century. Marnyhac undertook casting for some of the leading sculptors of the day including Jean Baptiste Clesinger, Amedee Charron and Eugene Deplechin. The company exhibited at the Paris Great Exhibition of 1878 (where they received a Gold Medal) and also the Universal Exposition of 1900.
