Maugham, Robin. Four typescript drafts with annotations, approximately 83 pages, mostly legal folio, n.p., January 21, 1963 and later, consisting of articles containing reflections by Robin Maugham on his "Uncle Willie," together with 14 black & white photographs, mostly 8 by 10 inches, annotated on verso, dated May 1965, comprising images of Robin, W. Somerset Maugham, and his Villa Mauresque in the South of France, handling creases, else very good.

Robin Maugham had a life-long fascination with his uncle, who often singled out his nephew Robin as an excellent candidate to be his biographer. This particular cache of manuscripts includes several articles composed in the 1960s, with annotations, that were later adapted in Robin Maugham's Conversations with Willie: Recollections of W. Somerset Maugham. New York: Simon & Schuster, 1978.
