Of regulator type, inscribed J.A.S. Aitchison, Edinburgh, circular 13 1/2 inch brass dial engraved Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dial and twin train movement striking a bell within arched hood above glass trunk door on box base and plinth, 204cm high.
