Bucolica, Georgica, et Aeneis, lightly browned, inscription on blank "collated & perfect VC 6 May 1748; exchanged this book with Dr Robinson who bought it at Mr Ambrose Philips' Auction cost was 1:1:0", contemporary morocco elaborately gilt with border of interlocking rings interspersed with floral, leaf, thistle and fleur-de-lys devices, surrounding central lozenge picked out with ribbons of black staining, containing similar devices, acorns and central six-pointed star enclosing sun with face, spine gilt in 6 compartments with similar devices (rubbed with minor loss), joints cracked, recornered, g.e., 4to, Cambridge, Jacob Tonson, 1701
