A pair of blue and white porcelain baluster vases
Kangxi Period
Each painted in shades of brilliant cobalt wash and outline with flower heads and vegetal scrolls arranged vertically around the waisted neck and the elongated curving body separated by narrow bands of chevrons alternating with flower heads and leaf scrolls, the set-in foot ring surrounding a double ring painted in underglaze blue to the center of the recessed base (one vase with neck crack).
