A large Phoenician glass head pendant
Circa 4th-3rd Century B.C.
Rod-formed of turquoise glass, the details applied in coloured glass, with a dark blue beard with vertical ridges, thick yellow lips, opaque white eyes with dark blue irises and rims, the ears pierced twice with yellow baubles, with an applied blue fringe of curls and a suspension loop above, 2in. (5cm.) some restoration, mounted
