  • The full-rigged American merchantman 'Forest Queen' was built at Rockland, Maine (U.S.A.) in 1858, registered at 594 tons and measured 137½ feet in length with a 30½ foot beam. Although this work is listed in Ramsey, he erroneously gives her place of build as Rockland, New England, and likewise her date of build as 1838.
