Four ethnographic adornments
Including two Melanesian kap-kaps, one from the Solomon Islands, exhibiting a stylized frigate bird motif in tortoise shell on the circular white shell plaque, the other probably from New Guinea, similarly constructed, the overlaid decoration finely worked in a linear pattern; a plain shell pectoral, New Guinea, carved in crescent form, pierced at both tapering ends; along with a Naga conch shell pendant, Assam, India, pierced in the center and marked by circle-dot designs.
