A Solomon Islands shield and club
The oblong flat wicker shield with straight sides and semicircular ends, a raised arch handle at the back; the hardwood club with knob butt end, the grip and flaring body oval in cross-section, cut flat across the top and with a small raised nib strung with strands of colored glass beads.
