Two Northwest Coast totem poles
The shorter of the two slightly concave at back, carved in bold relief to depict a wolf below the head of another totemic creature, a hawk perched at top, with black and faint green pigments; the larger unpainted and carved in full relief, fastened to a disk base, delicately sculpted to reveal an animal head surmounted by a bear devouring a fish, a beaver at top, fine incised and carved details throughout.
