Lot Details
The 1930 World Cup Ball
The ball was used following objections from Argentina claiming the ball was deflating after Cea scored for Uruguay in the 57th minute to bring the score level at 2-2. The ball was given to Juan Pedro Arremond, who was in the winning 1928 Olympic team but was prevented from playing in the World Cup through injury. The ball was passed to the vendor as descendant of Arremond.
