the musicians seated among very elaborate flowering bocage, he plays bagpipes with a dog at his side, she plays a mandolin with a lamb beside her on the rococo base heightened in turquoise and gold, the colouring following Chelsea-Derby traditions, 19.5cm and 20cm high, incised No 284, both with 'repairer's' mark g (candle nozzles lacking, his left arm restored, other minor losses to extremities) (2)
