Footnotes

  • Reading like a Who's Who of pop music, this collection was compiled by Joseph Alexander, manager of the Gaumont Cinema, Wolverhampton. The Beatles appeared there on 14th March and 19th November 1963. John did not perform on the first occasion due to a heavy cold, although he was present, as his signature shows.
