Persia, late 12th/ early 13th Century
comprising twenty-two small bowls, the majority of conical form in a turquoise glaze, three decorated in a brown glaze on a white ground, the moulding on most consisting of a variety of scroll, palmette and cable band designs, seven plain turquoise bowls with no moulding and one painted underglaze with black radiating lines
the largest 11.7 cm. diam; average diam. 9 cm. (22)
