A Songe ivory figure
Zaire, the blocky feet serving as a base, on short stout legs, arms cut away from the body with hands to the protruding abdomen, the face marked by sharply tapering jawline, neat beard, slit oval eyes and open mouth, the head cut flat and notched about the perimeter.
