A Yaka figure
Zaire, the standing female with bent legs, protruding abdomen and breasts, the arms curving up from the flat shoulders and reaching the chin, the face marked by slit oval eyes and mouth, prominent ears and semicircular crested cap, ochre pigment, rubbed throughout; along with a miniature metal-wrapped wood-handled ceremonial knife that may or may not have origianlly been associated with the figure.
