A Beachey Vs Oldfield for 'Championship of the Universe' memorabilia, 1914,
comprising ticket number 211 for Emeryville Track (Oakland) January 24-25, 1914, some creasing, a photograph of a close finish in a well-staged Auto/Aero race, another depicting Lincoln Beachey lighting Barney Oldfield's cigar, together with an issue of Speed Age magazine for March 1949, with a three page feature by J.L Beardsley 'Duels of the Roaring Road', with a good review of the Beachey Vs Oldfield races and an illustration of the same on page 10, covers detached.
