A late 18th Century figured mahogany longcase clock
The one piece silvered arched dial with "Strike/Silent" to the arch, subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed "Thos. Hale, London", eight day striking movement, the arched hood flanked by brass inset stop fluted columns below a moulded cornice and shaped fretwork cresting surmounted by brass orb finials, over an arch top moulded edge long trunk door flanked by brass inset stop fluted cants, on a re-entrant corner panel base and a stepped bracket plinth base, 230cm high.
