The top inset with an old gilt tooled mellow green leather writing surface, over a central concave marquetry inlaid frieze drawer, flanked by four conforming graduated drawers to each side, marquetry inlaid turned knob handles, further flanked by pilasters incorporating Wellington style locking bars, each inlaid with an oval patera and husks within a line border, each 'side' inlaid with a twin scroll handled classical urn, the back with two open, conforming crossbanded shelves, conforming pilasters, on conforming marquetry inlaid square tapering feet, lacking castors, top two short drawers stamped 'Maple & Co.', splits to 'sides', s.d., 123cm wide, 70cm maximum depth, 70cm high.
