Two interesting Chelsea items
circa 1755-60
the first a small dish, possibly a stand for a finger bowl, painted with colourful flower sprays, the undulating rim picked out in brownish-red, 15.3cm diam. (short fine crack to rim), the second a strawberry dish, moulded with strawberry plants around the rim, a bird and three insects painted in the centre, 20.8cm diam., (some wear and crazing to glaze) both with red anchor mark (2)
