An unrecorded Pratt Ware 'Fair Hebe' type Toby Jug, circa 1790,
modelled standing in wide conical hat, attired in blue jacket, orange waistcoat, yellow breeches and brown boots, holding a glass in one hand, a bottle between his feet and a spotted dog jumping against his thighs, the rear with crabstock handle, 26cm (section of hat lacking at rear, crack around neck and wrist, firing crack to shoulder and handle)

  • This model is unrecorded in the literature. With the exception of the positioning of his right arm and the shape of the hat, this Toby closely resembles the moulded designs by John Voyez found on the well known 'Fair Hebe' jugs.
