1971-2005 Machins A specialised collection in six Plymouth albums and an FG Warwick album contained in two cartons, ½p. to £5 and NVI's arranged by value with profiles, good range of most values with different gums, papers, head and value types, coil and booklet stamps, varieties with some missing phosphors and broad bands, 3½p. FCP/DEX in an olive-brown shade, cylinder singles and also some blocks, stitched booklet panes with perf. types, folded and Window books, etc., face value £440‡.

1840 1d. Plate V: CA state 3, good to very large margins all round, fine.

Ascension, Basutoland, British Solomon Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus (both), Falkland Island, Gilbert and Ellice Island, Hong Kong (to $5), New Zealand, Pitcairn Island, St. Helena, Singapore, Somaliland, Tristan Da Cunha, etc.

A mint and used collection in mixed condition in twenty three albums contained in two cartons with all periods represented but main interest in Q.E.II issues inc. West Indian and Pacific Islands, Singapore, Tristan Da Cunha, Gibraltar, Malta, African Territories, omnibus issues, commemoratives, definitives, thematics, also G.B. f.d.c's, etc. (258)

An optd. or perf'd "SPECIMEN" selection with Bechuanaland 1887 £1, Falkland Is. 1929-36 10/- and £1 in horizontal pairs, Gambia duplicated range inc. K.E.VII values to 3/-, K.G.V values to 4/- and 5/-, St. Vincent inc. 1899 CA ½d. to 5/-, 1902 CA ½d. to 5/-, 1938-47 to £1, and Tanganyika 1927-31 values inc. 2/- to £1, etc., some faults but mainly fine.

A collection in seven albums contained in a carton inc. Australia 1928 Exhibition 3d. sheetlet of four mint, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland 1922 opts., Malayan States inc. F.M.S. 1925 $5 used, N.Z. 1898 5/- Mt. Cook mint, 1931 Health 1d. + 1d. mint, Rhodesia, South Africa, C.O.G.H. triangulars (6), also G.B. f.d.c's, etc.

A K.G.VI mint collection in a stockbook with complete sets and high values, also an album of G.B. and some covers.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories excluding Wine, Coins & Medals and Motor Cars and Motorcycles:
A successful bidder at this sale will be required to pay Bonhams 1793 Limited ("Bonhams") a premium calculated as follows:
25% on the first £100,000 of the hammer price
20% on the excess of £100,001 and up to £2,000,000 of the hammer price
12% on the excess of £2,000,001 of the hammer price

VAT at 20% will be payable on the amount of the premium.

The premium is payable for the services to be provided by Bonhams in the Buyer's Agreement which is contained in the catalogue for this Sale and for the opportunity to bid for the Lot at the Sale.

Payment Notices

Payment in advance: by cash, cheque with banker's card, credit card, bank draft or traveller's cheque.

Payment at collection: by credit or debit card.

Credit card charges: a surcharge of 2% is applicable when using Mastercard, Visa and overseas debit cards.
