- Walter Barrie Turnbull was born 2.8.1872 C.B. C.M. Ed 1893; Second Lieut 29 July 1895; S.Capt 29 July 1898; Major 29.1.1907 died at Mainpuri 17.11.1907. Entitled to IGS 1895 with two bars, China 1900 with clasp. There is no mention of the Tibet medal in the Roll of the I.M.S. Worthy of further research.
