the rectangular top with shaped pertruding corners above a central drawer with a waive and chip carved border carved with a stylised rose pull and containing a compartmentalised slide flanked by similar short drawers, one containing a pull out slide, the other a fitted letter rack and pentray, above a pull out writing slide, the sides with similar decoration on champfered square section legs joined by an interlaced 'knot' X-stretcher
