Henry Brittan Willis, R.W.S. (1810-1884) Plough horse 23 x 37cm (9 x 14½in).

John H. Butler (exh.1928-35) A sketch of "Agnes Lucy Boileau" 28 x 23.5cm (11 x 9¼in).

Circle of Charles Robertson (c.1760-1821) A portrait of an officer in blue uniform with red facings and gold epaulettes oval 36mm., in a gold frame.

English School (late 18th Century) A portrait of the Rev. William Miles, bust length oval 100mm, and a companion, a pair, both within period gilt gesso frame.

English School (18th Century) A portrait of a gentleman leaning against a sofa, half length and holding a scroll 114 x 95mm, within period frame.

Christian Frederick Zincke (German 1683/4-1767) A miniature portrait of a Duchess in a blue dress, with white under dress and crimson cloak, holding a flower, an ermine-trimmed coronet to her right, against a landscape background oval, 50mm., in a gilded composition frame surmounted with coronet.

English School (early 19th Century) A miniature portrait of Dr O'Connor seated in a red chair 120 x 100mm., within a verre eglomise mount, in an elegant arched frame.

Studio of Bernard Lens III (1682-1740) A miniature portrait of a gentleman, wearing a blue coat with gold buttons and trim, a crimson cloak over his right shoulder oval, 85mm. high, in a gilt metal frame.

English School (18th Century) A miniature portrait of the Reverend John Wesley in robes and bands oval, 60mm. high, in a turned wood frame, together with two other miniatures of vicars, one a watercolour on ivory and the other on paper.

Buyers' Premium and Charges

For all Sales categories excluding Wine, Coins & Medals and Motor Cars and Motorcycles:
A successful bidder at this sale will be required to pay Bonhams 1793 Limited ("Bonhams") a premium calculated as follows:
25% on the first £100,000 of the hammer price
20% on the excess of £100,001 and up to £2,000,000 of the hammer price
12% on the excess of £2,000,001 of the hammer price

VAT at 20% will be payable on the amount of the premium.

The premium is payable for the services to be provided by Bonhams in the Buyer's Agreement which is contained in the catalogue for this Sale and for the opportunity to bid for the Lot at the Sale.

Payment Notices

Payment in advance: by cash, cheque with banker's card, credit card, bank draft or traveller's cheque.

Payment at collection: by credit or debit card.

Credit card charges: a surcharge of 2% is applicable when using Mastercard, Visa and overseas debit cards.
