by F. Terry, 1623, fully marked around rim of bowl, lion passant to underside of foot, indistinct traces of a mark (?) to rim of cover,
the bowl and domed circular foot chased with stylised acanthus leaves and shells with strapwork above and below, the stem formed as a three-handled vase, foot with an egg and tongue border, the cover similarly decorated below a pierced steeple finial raised on three caryatid supports (split around centre disc at base of finial), the bowl with prick-dot initials "SH", with further prick-dot inscription around cover "G.us Hockmore salutem 1633 amico suo W.mo Longe", height 41cm., weight 18oz.
