A 17th Century Continental silver-gilt beaker,
unmarked except for later control marks, one to rim (French?), the other Dutch, at top of engraving, the beaker probably German or Hungarian, probably second half of the 17th Century,
the tapering sides finely etched in the early 17th Century manner with boar hunting scenes, the base later inscribed "S.T to T.T, 22nd Feby. 1825", the rim of the base inscribed with weight "23 Lot", 13cm. high, 9.9cm. diameter, 10.5oz.
