No one is ignorant of the hereditary right…Broadside, printed one side, previous repairs, lower corner torn and strengthened on verso, bound with a 2-page explanatory typescript, later quarter calf, lacking backstrip, Jessie M King bookplate for W. McMillan, [Edinburgh ? 1748] Dated Paris, 16th July 1748, this translation from the French is a protest against the provison under the Treaty of Aix-Ia-Chapelle that France should no longer give asylum to Prince Charles
