A Satsuma vase by Ryozan,
Meiji period,
of tapered cylindrical form, decorated in colours with a procession of two carts being pulled and each carrying urns filled with flowers, the smaller panel decorated with a bird perched on a flowering branch,
31cm high, impressed and painted marks for Ryozan, impressed marks for the Yasuda Company and painted mon of Lord Shimazu
