A George III mahogany Basin-Stand,
the circular dish top with an egg and dart carved border, supported by three fluted and trellis carved uprights, joined by an undertier of two drawers, surmounted by a covered spherical pot, on 'S' scroll foliate carved supports joining a tripartite base, centred by a dish well with drainage hole, on foliate flowerhead and rocaille carved downswept legs, with claw and ball feet, with an old repair to the border of the dish top, the base of the dish top added, previously an open recess, 54 cm. wide, 54 cm. deep, 80 cm. high.
