A particularly fine Worcester coffee cup and saucer
Zorensky catalogue fig. 333. The figure decoration relates to the Thomson tea service in the Victoria and Albert Museum, made at Chelsea, circa 1760-65, see Elizabeth Adams, Chelsea Porcelain, 2nd edition, p. 150, fig. 11.13. It is likely only a single tea and coffee service and a matching chocolate set were made at Worcester. The coffee pot is in the Frank Lloyd collection in the British Museum, catalogue, no. 354.
