by Parker & Wakelin, circa 1770, date letter rubbed, with an unmarked detachable cover probably of a later date,
of rectangular form with hinged cover to one side, gadroon border, the centre fitted with a later feather-edge divider, one chain attachment with ring and wood baluster handle, the base later engraved with twin crests below a coronet, the junction of handle with contemporary crest, and the cover with later armorial, gross weight of base 38oz.,
