An early 17th Century Dutch beaker of rummer form,
An almost identical beaker by a then unrecorded Utrecht maker whose mark is a shield with two chevrons is illustrated in Plate 33, item 46, and described on P.17 of "Dutch Silver" Vol. III by J.W. Fredericks, The Hague, 1960. The maker with two chevrons has since been identified by Karel Citroen as Vincent Knijff.
